Canoeing is an exciting activity where one rides a lightweight and narrow boat called a canoe and uses a single-bladed paddle to row ahead on the water body. To begin with, leaves and branches are burned to calm down the bees. Then the honey hunter climbs the tree with a bee comb from a ladder or a rope. Then, with a long bamboo stick, the bee comb is pierced and the honey chunks are cut and is transported to the bucket right by the same bamboo stick beneath the honeycomb put by the hunter.
This is done without making a noise or else there would be a bee attack. This is a traditional activity here in Nepal that today is best practiced in Bhujung, Nai Chi, Pasgaon, Naya Gaun, Ludhi, and Dare as an adventurous activity.
