Hello! I’m Kumar Tamang, and I’m an energetic, determined, and passionate individual. I was born on October 16, 1997, in a remote village in Dhading, Nepal. At the young age of 16, I started my career in the trekking industry as a Porter, following in the footsteps of my father, who also worked in the same field.

As I gained experience and knowledge, I progressed from being a Porter to becoming a trekking guide. With a strong desire to work independently, I founded Firantes, an adventure travel company that aims to offer exceptional experiences while promoting sustainable tourism.

Upholding values such as integrity, excellence, and customer satisfaction, I am committed to expanding Firantes and establishing it as a leading name in the industry, providing a wide range of adventure activities and creating unforgettable journeys amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas.
