Explore the wonders of Chitwan National Park with our ethical safari, designed to offer an authentic and environmentally respectful experience. Chitwan is renowned for its rich biodiversity, particularly the one-horned rhinoceros, one of the region’s most iconic species, which now only inhabits India and Nepal. Our safari provides the opportunity to observe these majestic animals, along with a variety of other species such as Bengal tigers, crocodiles, wild elephants, and an impressive array of birdlife. The priority on our safari is always the well-being of the animals, so wildlife sightings are uncertain, and no actions are taken to attract the animals.
We take pride in offering a safari that respects the integrity of the natural environment. We use various modes of transportation, such as 4×4 vehicles, boats, and guided walks, to blend in with the surroundings without disturbing the animals’ habitat. This approach allows us to explore the park efficiently while minimizing our impact on nature. Our team of expert guides will accompany you throughout the tour, providing information about the local wildlife and flora, and ensuring that the experience is enriching, respectful, and safe.

Additionally, it works in collaboration with local communities to promote education and environmental conservation, facilitating harmonious coexistence.
Accessing Chitwan National Park is easy and convenient, with transportation options available from Kathmandu and Pokhara. We offer a complete service that includes transportation, comfortable lodge accommodations, and all safari activities.

We will meet early in the morning at the bus station. Our bus will depart at 7:00 AM, so please arrive by 6:30 AM. From there, we will begin our 5-hour journey to Chitwan National Park. The scenic drive is beautiful, and we will make stops for meals along the way. Upon arrival in Chitwan, we will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. This afternoon, we will take a stroll through the Tharu village and enjoy their traditional dance performance in the evening.
Today is safari day. Our guides will pick us up in the morning and provide us with packed lunch prepared with traditional Tharu cuisine. We will head to the park, where our safari adventure begins. First, we will embark on a traditional canoe ride, crafted by the Tharu people from a hollowed log. We will cross the river, which will take a couple of hours, gliding past numerous crocodiles, highlighting two rare species – Marsh Mugger and Gharial and, with luck, we may see some animals coming to the riverbank to drink. Next, we will continue on foot to explore the more hidden areas of the park. We will stop for lunch at one of the elevated observation points for safety. Afterward, we will resume our safari in a jeep to cover more ground. Finally, we will return to the village. The safari will last until the afternoon, and we will likely be tired, so we can relax at the hotel and enjoy dinner in the evening.
After breakfast, we will board the bus for our return journey to Kathmandu or Pokhara, depending on your choice. Once we arrive, we will say our farewells.
The park lies in a subtropical monsoon-influenced humid area. It is preferred to visit Chitwan National Park from September to May, during the dry season. Specially from November to February. During these months, the weather is cooler and more pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius and cooler nights. The dry conditions improve visibility, making it easier to spot wildlife as animals gather near water sources and the reduced foliage enhances viewing opportunities. Additionally, the absence of heavy rains reduces the risk of flooding and makes transportation within the park smoother, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable safari experience.
Travel insurance is compulsory for the safari. All the travelers must provide a copy of their comprehensive travel insurance policy certificate. Please ensure you have insurance that covers safari activities, as this is essential for your safety and peace of mind during the adventure.
Travelers are kindly requested to send their detailed insurance information after trip booking. In case of emergencies, we will be using the insurance policy and informational documents you sent us.
Before buying travel insurance, make sure to call the insurance company and recheck if they cover safari activities.
Your safety is our top priority during the safari. You will be accompanied by several certified local guides who are experts in safaris and trained in first aid. It is crucial to always follow the instructions of our guides and pay close attention to the safety measures provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. For your protection, never approach the wildlife too closely or venture out on your own. Adhering to these guidelines will help maintain a secure environment and allow you to fully appreciate the beauty of Chitwan National Park.
All our tours are committed to being environmentally responsible, respectful of wildlife, and considerate of local communities. We collaborate with various NGOs in each region to develop and support projects focused on sustainability and community development. Native to the Indian subcontinent, these magnificent creatures are primarily found in Chitwan National Park and a few other locations in Nepal and India.
